VMixx started his music career long before he knew he would be doing it for a living. His father sang in a gospel group in the state of Alabama. His father, a musician himself, always had  guitars & a piano around the house. 

As a child, VMixx would get excited every time he heard his father’s voice over the radio on Sunday mornings. He recalls, at the age of 3, one Sunday afternoon, his father walked through the door with a yellow metallic guitar and matching amplifier. By the age of 5 the family moved to California to escape racial discrimination and seek better opportunities in jobs and education. 

Moving to Watts, South Central L.A., and later settling in Compton Ca., VMixx performed in the school jazz and orchestra marching band throughout Jr high and high school. 
Then, with his natural God given talent, he added the technical skills he needed to fulfill his dreams of becoming successful in the music industry. VMixx started a full Music Production/ Songwriting/Session Musician company with Grammy, Gold & Multi-Platinum credits with recording artist such as,
"BONE THUGS N HARMONY/EAZY E/MAC-10/YOYO/2PAC and DJ U-NEEK. 

If you're a Bone Thugs N' Harmony fan, VMixx has had the pleasure of performing on several of their albums, movie soundtracks, and singles including the 4x's platinum double cd album "The Art Of War" and the Grammy award winning 2x's platinum single "Tha Crossroads" as well as 2 Pac & Bone Thugs N Harmony’s "Thug Love".
